Postgraduate Courses
The Inter - University Postgraduate Programme of the Faculty of Nursing,which provides 2 specializations every year " Health Care Management - Health Informatics " works in the Department from the academic year 1998-1999 (GG approval : 1085 / B '/ 10.16.98 , GG correction 28 / B '/ 25.01.99 , Gov. updated: 1200 / B / 26.08.03 ) . This Postgraduate programme collaborates with the following departments: Faculty of Economics,Faculty of Computer Science (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens), General Faculty of Polytechnic School (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), Faculty of Medical School (University of Ioannina), Faculty of Computer Science, Faculty of Industrial Management and Technology (University of Piraeus).
The main objectives of the postgraduate program with a specialization in Health Informatics are: 1 ) The provision of specialized scientific knowledge to graduates in fields that meet the modern needs of Health Care through Health Information , 2 ) The introduction and guidance of graduate students in scientific research so that graduates of the program can perform research projects and evaluate and apply research results and to plan and to develop research in the fields of health informatics
The laboratory of Health Informatics supports graduate programme as well as laboratory courses that take place in other graduate programmes of the Nursing Faculty.
